The Eat Well Challenge

M&M Ribs presents to you our very first eating contest!

We are going to have 5 contestants. Each contestant will get 1 slab of ribs and all the onlookers get to see who can finish their slab first!
That is — if they can finish it at all.

How do we choose the 5 contestants? The only fair way… a drawing!

For the next 3 weeks we will be accepting names of the individuals wishing to be apart of The Eat Well Challenge. On Wednesday September 7, 2011 the drawing will be held and the 5 contestants will be revealed. On Saturday September 17, 2011 it’s going down!

The winner will receive a free meal, a case of brews, and an M&M Ribs t-shirt!

FOOD TRUCKS @ SOWA Market

For the Month of July we will be vending at the Boston SOWA Open Market every other Sunday starting July 3rd.

The SoWa Open Market offers a shopping experience like no other in Boston. With an ever-changing group of artisans and a hip location it’s a trip worth making. The market offers the opportunity to meet the artists, vendors and farmers behind the work. Every week offers shoppers something different and unique – you won’t want to miss it!

The market hosts a wide variety of vendors, whether you’re looking for hand-crafted accessories, original art, indie designer clothing or just a fresh loaf of bread, you’ll find painters, sculptors, photographers, clothing and jewelry designers, milliners, handbag designers, house wares, florists, bakers, local farmer’s produce and much more every week!

Everyone pigs out at a BBQ!

The Troy Pig Out will welcome professional BBQ teams from across the United States for this two day competition which includes a People’s Choice St. Louis Rib competition on Saturday, and the main event on Sunday.

Barbeque vendors and live music are the main attractions for guests to the festival, filling Riverfront Park on both Saturday and Sunday, and a special fireworks show on Saturday night over the Hudson River.

The Troy Pig Out is officially sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Association and the office of the Governor as the New York State BBQ Championship, qualifying the winner for the National Championship

This is serious business – so look out for charging BBQ’ers! A team of 38 Kansas City Barbeque Society licensed judges will be ready to blindly determine the winner in each category, basing their scores on three ingredients: taste, appearance and texture. The Grand Champion is awarded ‘Victor’ – our life sized golden pig (and cash of course, but we think the pig is pretty cool)!
